Are you ready to make an impact and create change for a global chemical leader?  We have an opportunity for a Project Process Engineer to join the site leadership team, as they reach for site-wide Excellence!  You will drive process optimization (batch processes) for existing and new process technology and implement the capital projects for the PSM facility.

Responsibilities:

--- Lead and/or participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA),  Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Management of Change (MOC) requirements for implementation of process or system changes.
--- Review operational performance data to identify/ develop long term improvement plans to optimize various processes
--- Develop necessary trial plans to test optimization ideas, lead testing with the plant, analyze data, and create report of findings
--- Recommend and implement approved Continuous Improvement projects
--- Develop FEL and/or other CDP documentation for process technologies
--- Manage engineering contractors to develop project scope, schedule, estimate, requests for proposals (RFP), drawings and other project documents.
--- Serves as the site PSM champion to ensure compliance with process changes and improvements
 
Qualifications:

--- BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years experience as Process/ Project Engineer in PSM chemical plants.
--- Requires solid background in Process Continuous Improvements and Project implementation
--- Knowledge of PSM, PHA, HAZOP, MOC, OSHA
--- Strong leadership and problem solving skills
--- Lean six sigma certification a plus
--- Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
