Our client is looking for an individual that can help update and revise environmental issues at one of their flagship facilities. This company is the leader in their industry and is under a microscope. This company has set an EPA standard for their specific product and technology. They have many systems set up but you will be tasked with making them better. You will have strong corporate interfacing. This position could lead to larger responsibilities in the near future.
YOUR TASKS AND DUTIES
You will have strong Air Permitting oversight involving government standards. (Consent Decree)
Work alongside other plant leadership team to get buy in with the hourly workforce on all EHS programs.
Will also work with the legal team on Environmental issues and company standards.
Review daily compliance for the facility
Spends significant time in the field monitoring EHS and building new new programs and update existing programs
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED
Bachelors or better in Engineering or Environmental
3-8 years working in heavy industry
Willing to work in the elements (Cold-Hot, Rain-Snow)
Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft office)
Must understand and be able to interpret EHS regulations
Environmental regulatory statutes, regulations and programs
3 Years Title V experience
NICE TO HAVE
Government Consent Decree exposure and experience
