A mid-cap chemical company is looking for a Global Reliability Manager. This newly created position reports to the Director of Process Safety and Reliability and will be responsible for developing and implementing a reliability engineering program for their 12 global plants, five of the plants are located in the US. They are looking for someone with a strong training background and someone with the experience of managing remotely.
Required: In general they are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years experience in Maintenance and Reliability in a manufacturing environment, chemical or refinery experience preferred. They want an expert in root cause investigations and reliability analysis tools, along with a Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt and a CRE, CMRP or professional engineering license.
The primary responsibilities include the teaching, mentoring and leading of Reliability Managers and Engineering at sites to analyze data for opportunities,implement an asset strategy, deliver reliability work process and drive improvement plans. You should be experienced in consulting on reliability principles and their application. You will also be collaborating with Maintenance Process Leaders, Mechanical Integrity Managers and Site Managers to drive reliability improvements consistent to transform reactive maintenance work into proactive reliability plans consistent with the asset strategy.
