WHAT IS THE JOB?
As the plant maintenance manager you will be responsible for all ongoing maintenance throughout the site. Your will lead and direct a team of 5 (mechanics, electrical and planner hourly employees) and a small group of outside contract employees on a project basis (2 to 6 normally). Beyond regular maintenance activities you will get involved in CAPEX budgeting for the site and project implementation in coordination with corporate engineering personnel and the plant leadership team. Will identify areas of improvement and implement new programs, systems and training to drive maintenance reliability.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED?
You will have a solid background in maintenance leadership in an operating facility - preference will be for that experience to be out of food, food ingredients, chemicals or related industrial processing facilities. Would like this individual to have a Engineering or Technical degree (Bachelors, associates, or a level of training equal to a degree) and at least 3 years of leadership experience of a maintenance team. You will have experience in preventive maintenance, experience with CMMS is a plus, Experience working in an FDA, HAZOP regulated facility is also a plus. Experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems is necessary in order to lead and train as well as to provide troubleshooting assistance when needed.
