Paper Production Process Engineer Job in Charlotte North Carolina (NC)

Lead millwide efforts on quality improvement, cost reduction and grade development through process modifications and optimization.
Emphasis on cost savings, major improvements studies and capital projects.

Responsible for providing technical production and supervisory assistance to the Site Manager.
Will include machine/process troubleshooting, process and operating optimization, product quality improvments and technical service to customers and sales.

.S In Chemical Engineering or Pulp and Paper.
3 years of Production Engineering in a pulp/paper mill.
Proven supervisory/managment ability.
Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of organization.
Strong organizational and computer skills.
Knowledge of statistical process control.
Interest in, and promotable to, higher level positions in technical and production areas
