PROCUREMENT CONTRACTS ENGINEERS
Needed for Development and Administration of
EPC Contracts for Upstream Oil and Gas Development Major Capital Projects Group
Sr. Staff Functional Lead Support Role
Interface with other Members of The Support Group to include: Administrations, Process Design, Mechanical, Commissioning & Start-Up, Cost & Schedule, Supply Chain and Procurement, and other Team Members.
Responsible for / Areas of Responsibility:
* Planning & Development of Contracting & Subcontracting Agreements and Documents
Administrator with Vendors for Procurement and Acquisition of Services & Equipment for Construction (EPC)
of Multimillion $ Projects Including:
* Policy and Procedures;
* Leading Development of a Plan for Reviewing the Bidders Proposals;
* Strategy;* Acquisition and Formation Tasks;
* Leading & Coordinating Commercial Negotiations & Negotiation Strategies;
* Receiving & Coordinating the Evaluation of Bidders Proposals;
* Coordinating Development of the Invitation for Proposals Package including Pro-Forma;
* Selecting Competitive Bid Slates & Tactical Planning;
* Assisting in the Development of Contracts Award Recommendations for Approval by Department Manager, Managers and Shareholders;
* Risk Identification & Management;
* Finalizing Documents Including Coordinating Input from Legal, Controllers, Treasurers & Other Functions;
* Administrations;
* Governance & Approval Processes;
* Monitoring Vendors Performance in terms of Safety, Progress, Schedule, Costs, Quality, Tax Liability, & Other Contractual Compliance Issues;
* Advice of needed Vendor?fs Corrective Actions to avoid Potential Disputes;
* Process Change Orders & Provide Notices to Vendors whenever necessary;
* Make Timely Settlement of any Claims and / or Disputes;
* Claims and Closeouts.
Skills Desired / Knowledge Of:
* Domestic & International Laws as they Pertain to this Function / Industry Segment;
* Federal, State, and International Regulatory Authorities;
* Industry Terms, Conditions, Costs of Services & Agreements, Vendors.
* MBA Highly Desirable.
To Qualify You Must Have All Of The Following Requirements:
College or University Degree In Engineering
