Environmental Engineer/Specialist Job in Lima Ohio (OH)

Candidate applying for the position of ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/SPECIALIST will be responsible for managing the regulatory requirements of various air programs within the refinery, and specifically the additional requirements of the Title V program. Our ideal candidate will maintain compliance with environmental regulations and ensure that all regulatory reports are accurate and submitted on time.

EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Designation as a Professional Engineer or Certified Engineer Technologist .
- Minimum of ten (10) years of refining or petrochemical plant experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience directly related to environmental engineering.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in air program regulations and dealing with environmental agencies.
- Previous experience in developing and implementing environmental compliance programs would be a definite asset.
- Knowledge of field practices.
- Well developed communication and presentation skills sufficient to convey both factual and conceptual information requiring detailed explanation and
interpretation to staff, professional and business groups.
- Strong leadership orientation that includes coaching, development of staff, and guidance of individuals toward goal achievement.
- Superior analytical skills to identify key issues based on relevant data and provide appropriate solutions/recommendations.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
- Complete assigned Title V tasks on time
- Stay current on assigned air program regulations
- Prepare analysis of new regulatory impacts on refinery operations
- Interact with the environmental agencies on issues of concern
- Assist in the compliance-related issues such as inspections and audits
- Develop and implement environmental compliance programs at the refinery
- Provide training on air programs to refinery personnel
- Assist with technical support to environmental issues

**** Must come from a petrochemical background (continuous) or Petroleum Refining Industry ****
