Facilities & Mechanical Engineer

If you are a Mechanical Engineer with Refinery or Chemical manufacturing experience, we have an opportunity for you.

We are a producer and provider of a variety of chemicals to industrial clients throughout the United States.

At this time, we are looking for a Facilities Manager with a materials background to direct and coordinate activities of the plant and oversee the processing of materials by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

What you will be doing:
Facilities Management
Day to day management of operations and maintenance of assigned facility
Supervise 13 - 15 employees
Develop and maintain an annual budget
Plan, develop and implement site specific policies and goals
Develop or revises standard operational job procedures and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
Represent Company and act as liaison between Company and customers.
Plan, implement and complete capital and maintenance projects

Materials Management
Continuous procurement, inventory and supply of all materials, supplies, parts and equipment
Securing required materials and services in the proper quantity and quality
Keep up to date on materials market to take advantage of material price changes
Work with inside purchasing, outside vendors and inside accounts payables
What you need to have to apply for this position:
BS degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical)
5+ years maintenance supervisory experience
Materials management experience a big plus
Purchasing/Supply Chain
Chemical plant operations experience crucial to this position
Ability to work with hourly employees and interfacing with clients
Good organizational skills
Strong PC & software skills
Experience in leadership and working with the local officials as required
