Job Description
The worlds leading water treatment and process improvement company with over 7,000 technically trained professionals serving 70,000 customer locations in more than 130 countries is seeking to fill an Account Manager opening in the Philadelphia, PA area. Calling on industrial and institutional customers to develop and implement innovative solutions that are financially, technically and environmental sustainable, this Account Manager must be able to operate independently and as part of a team that builds relationships through discipline, dedication and commitment. The company has over 3,000 sales people producing over $2 billion in sales annually.
The primary responsibility of this Account Manager position will be to develop business opportunities while maintaining an existing customer base. In addition to growing the business, it is expected that the Account Manager will work with facility
engineer
s to improve efficiency of customer plant operations, evaluate plant operating equipment, data acquisition and monitoring, write service reports and maintain current operational manuals. Ths Account Manager will be exposed to many types of industrial equipment including water treatment equipment, boilers, cooling towers, refrigeration and a wide range of piping, valves and pumps in the
chemical
processing, nuclear and manufactruing industries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 4 year degree in
engineer
ing
* 2 plus years of process
engineer
ing or sales experience in the
chemical
processing, manufacturing, or nuclear industries
* a valid drivers license and good driving record are required
* excellent communicaions skills both upward and downward including computer literacy
* an outgoing personality and interest in being a team player are essential
* knowledge of water treatment is a plus
